She’s Leaving Home 1

As stated in my third post, I am creating a book based off of The Beatle’s “She’s Leaving Home.” In order to figure out what the pages should look like, I listened to the song and drew out the different stages in order in my notebook. I then transcribed these pages into the booklet we made during the workshop using post it notes. The tricky part was when I had to adjust the pictures to fit the space within the book. For example, I wanted to add columns to fill in the space of the long page located in the middle of the book (you can fold it in half or open it all the way!). The extra room gave me the ability to expand the page and include some neat features!

I wanted to focus on making the book as interactive as possible, and every page had a deliberate meaning or directly matched the lyric verse of the song. It is all in chronological order.
