She’s Leaving Home 2

Wow! The workshop in class gave me a TON of resources that I am grateful to have. Having pictures cut out of the book gave my prototype a new dimension that I hadn’t even thought about before! Instead of spending hours drawing every detail out, I can swipe a pattern or background and incorporate it into my piece! Admittedly, I went a little bit overboard, as you can see…

Still, having all of these new shapes and vibrant colours really inspired me to jump in and go nuts. I was able to piece together some wacky pages that were quirkier and more abstract than I had originally plan. Even though I had all of my pages mapped out, several of my pages COMPLETELY CHANGED since I had so many new options. They changed for the better, of course!
