Memories of the Future
This week I was allowed to focus on less content and more visual aspects of the book. Pictured above are the inside and outside of my covers. My story has somewhat of a dream aspect to it and I was thinking of dreamy type objects that would work as silhouettes in the background to connect my covers and thought traveling as a dream for everyone. In my story, two people travel great distances for each other in a different sense than you would think so I found this appropriate and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The book is exactly 16 pages and I’ve decided to single stitch 4 pages into the book as I need the space to create a backdrop in my binding. I feel the project is coming together as a whole as I’ve also solidified all my content and even chose a font!
