Animals and Their Anatomy-Prototype #1

For this first prototype, my goal was to expand as far as I could in the amount of time that we had on my idea of making a humorous animal anatomy book. My progress while making the book was somewhat restricted due to my lack of knowledge on how big I should make the text that I printed out to put in the book. Since the text I printed out was too big, I wasn’t able to get as far as I had wished. However, I think deciding to print off all the material that would go into my book has proven to be a good decision so far. I think that if I had chosen to write/draw in it, then the overall neatness and quality would not have been as good. As you will see in the images below, the quality of the text and images turned out to be pretty neat and tidy, especially for the first prototype.

Although the book looks neat and legible, it still leaves much to be desired. I was not able to fit the humorous anatomical descriptions onto the page, so right now the book is somewhat underwhelming. From this first prototype process, I learned that I need to think more critically about how things will fit and orient on the pages. Next time around, I will definitely shrink the anatomical descriptions so they can actually fit on the pages to make the book much more appealing.
