I am Abbey Corcoran. Corcoran is Irish but backward it\u2019s narocroc, which is nothing\u2026 but fun! I am frequently kept awake by my burning hatred of the racist-heteropatriarchy we live in, my love of Cool Ranch Doritos, and my passion for John Milton. My ultimate dream is to drive a sports car really slowly on the highway so people can pass me and feel good about themselves so, I guess, what\u2019s standing between me and that dream is that I\u2019m broke and sports cars are expensive. My happy place is anywhere you can be surrounded by mountains (I\u2019m from Aspen, Colorado) or a world where Slip-and-Slides aren\u2019t for people 12 years old or younger. Dense theoretical and historically and culturally specific language binds me to the intersecting (sometimes clashing) queer and feminist communities and, I wouldn\u2019t have it any other way.
