How to submit work<\/h3>\n<\/header>\n

Draft your assignments in Word, Pages, or some other word processing program for safe keeping. Then login to the course website, create a new post, copy your work into it (click on the clipboard icon with a \u201cT\u201d on it to paste in text without glitchy formatting), and save it as a draft. Upload a featured image if you want to use one to draw attention to your post. Check the appropriate categor(ies) and select “publish” when you are ready for others to read and comment on your work.\u00a0
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

All posts should include these 3 necessary elements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. categories: [your name], [assignment category];<\/li>\n
  2. works cited, and<\/li>\n
  3. honor code pledge.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Click \u201cUpdate\u201d to save changes.<\/p>\n

    Click \u201cUpdate\u201d to save changes after you’ve published.<\/p>\n

    If you prefer to publish your work on your own domain (or some other platform) and display it on our site, you can create a \u201cwindow\u201d to your work by using the short code for an i-frame. Here are the steps:<\/p>\n

    1. Log into our course site.<\/li>\n
    2. Add a new post.<\/li>\n
    3. Switch from Visual to Text mode (tab on top right of formatting toolbar).<\/li>\n
    4. Paste this short code into the text box and copy your URL in between the quotation marks: <iframe style=\u201dborder: 0px;\u201d src=\u201dhttp:\/\/www.theCompleteURLforYourWork.com\u201d width=\u201d500\u2033 height=\u201d500\u2033 frameborder=\u201d0\u2033 scrolling=\u201dno\u201d><\/iframe><\/li>\n
    5. Note: you can play with the dimensions of the window. Save your post and preview it to make sure it looks the way you want it to.<\/li>\n
    6. Switch back to Visual mode to add your works cited (if not visible through iframe), featured post, excerpts, and categories.<\/li>\n
    7. Save, publish, proof, edit, save publish.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
