Practice Mindfulness Meditations<\/h5>\n<p>You can find free mindfulness meditations at the <a href=\"http:\/\/marc.ucla.edu\/body.cfm?id=22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UCLA Mindful Aware Research Center<\/a> and at <a href=\"http:\/\/stopbreathethink.org\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stop, Breathe &amp; Think<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Online Writing Resources<\/h3>\n<p>Use the wealth of resources assembled in\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.davidson.edu\/composingarguments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Composing Arguments: a Resource on Academic Writing for Davidson Students<\/a>. It includes helpful on all stages of the writing process and offers links to citation guidelines for MLA Style.<\/p>\n<p>My MLA Style Synopsis both describes and models MLA Style for print media. You may need to adapt MLA Style to digital environments. The important thing, whether working in print or digital form, is to identify all sources quoted, paraphrased, or consulted, and provide a link or citation that will guide your reader to the original source.<\/p>\n<p>Purdue University\u2019s Online Writing Lab (OWL) includes an <strong><a title=\"OWL MLA Formatting and Style Guide\" href=\"http:\/\/owl.english.purdue.edu\/owl\/resource\/747\/01\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MLA Formatting and Style Guide<\/a>\u2014<\/strong>an excellent, searchable resource for figuring how to cite different types of print and digital texts, including films, paintings, videos, lectures, conversations, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Search <strong><a title=\"creative commons\" href=\"http:\/\/search.creativecommons.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Creative Commons<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>for public domain images that aren\u2019t bound by copyright.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><a title=\"waste line test\" href=\"http:\/\/www.writersdiet.com\/WT.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Writer\u2019s Diet test<\/a> <\/strong>is an online tool to help you diagnose clutter, flabbiness, and other weaknesses in your writing. Just cut and paste your text in, run the test, and read your results.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/davidson.libguides.com\/zotero\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Zotero<\/strong><\/a> is a free, open source, easy-to-use\u00a0citation management tool\u00a0that helps you to collect, manage, cite, and share your research sources. It also allows you to generate a bibliography in a snap.
